Frontispiece is colour portrait of Sir Douglas Haig, Commander-in-Chief of the British Forces in France and Belgium. Half title page has black and white photograph of David Lloyd George. These 2 illustrations and on the front and back of one page which has about a 3 in tear at the bottom. No markings in book. Beige patterned endpapers are clean. Edges of pages are marbled. Cover is pebbled cloth to look like black leather with gilt lettering on front and spine. Cover shows light signs of wear at edges and corners, otherwise in very good condition. GOOD+
